Local-First App Design
LidControl is designed to run locally on your Mac. App behavior and settings are primarily handled on-device. We do not use in-app advertising trackers, and we do not include third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs inside the macOS app.
Information Processed by the App
- License and entitlement checks: if you activate Pro features, your app communicates with our licensing provider to validate license status.
- Update checks: if update checks are enabled in the app, it may request update metadata from https://lidcontrol.com/appcast.xml.
- Local settings: configuration and preference data are stored on your device.
Website Analytics and Cookies
If you consent, this website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand traffic and usage patterns. If you decline, analytics cookies are not used for measurement.
We configure page measurement to avoid sending URL query strings and fragments where possible.
You can change analytics consent at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
Payments, Orders, and Licensing Providers
